I’d deffo mesh the top lid as hamster will be able to get out of the bars. Will break when getting the cage open but other than that it's a nice cage. I use this cage for a robo hamster, the lid does need to be meshed, but it provides so much more space than the average pet shop cage.

My hamster and I give this cage a big thumbs up! It’s HUGE. It angers me that it’s being marketed as a guinea pig or rabbit cage, which it is definitely not. Cleaning takes a while but you’re not supposed to do full cleans often anyway.

Perfect size for a dwarf or Syrian hamster. Decided to order another from here. It is a really good size and enables for good depth of bedding. Worth getting from else where.

Fortunately it can still close and isn't too bad but considering the amount of paper packaging Amazon put in that box, I wasn't expecting any damage. I am SO happy with this cage. But, the cage is still great. Overall the product is exactly what we needed (hamster holiday home).

Was very surprised by it's size but this is a good thing. My only complaints are, the top lid easily comes off. This cage is perfect for a syrian hamster.

You can fit an 27cm wheel in with no trouble, and there's plenty of room to add in a multichamber hide and other forms of toys/enrichment for them to keep busy. It’s surprisingly bigger in person than I’d have initially thought as I didn’t measure the space I had at home 😂 Id recommend this cage to anyone. The bad thing is that it had 1 locking clip missing and the break away hinges are also missing but be doing with sending it back and having to wait for another one to arrive.
