❌ THICK RUGS: Whilst I had no issue with thin/medium rugs, I noticed it struggled with thicker rugs so just something to bare in mind. Construction is lightweight metals and plastics quite sturdy and can take a few hits without causing any damage to the head. Well ladies and gents, I was wrong! So easy to assemble with lots of bits provided for an efficient and varied hoover.

The brush head has LED lights that illuminate the area in front of the brush head and a also an LED bar on the top of the attachment which, in IQ mode indicates how much debris has been detected - you can hear the power responding according to how clean (or not ) the surface is. ’ So yeah that excuse can’t even be used here.

It’s easy to put together and get the batteries all charged up. But it will cost you. perhaps its worth it in a house with several pets or smokers…So all in all this really is a superb product in every respect - a fantastic addition to any home. ✔️ BATTERY LIFE: One battery is decent enough but that fact it comes with two and a dual charger, you shouldn't have any worries about having no power.

Yes it’s better, and the Smart IQ sensor may save you money in the long run by concentrating power only at areas that really need it. It also has a very pleasant odour insert for the main floor attachment, so you get a really nice fresh scent when cleaning. And it works like an absolute dream - unlike most cordless stick cleaners this one has got bags of power to spare when you need it and it makes light work of cleaning all the surfaces I tried it on.

It’s a very expensive device and I couldn’t honestly say that it’s twice as good as products around half the cost of this one. But you can also notice in the picture after continued use the cyclonic storage area gets a little bit dulled by dirt and dust which sands its insides. Shark is a great brand and this one doesn't disappoint.
