The navy blue color is as pictured, but the wine color is not as bright as in the pictures. I also like the fact that the velcro in the back doesn't keep catching on the blanket or other fabrics.

This blanket I think is a useful idea for a truly original gift. 'oodies' I think they are called? It's like a pet now, sort of an inanimate family member. It's so comfy and soft and even my kids try to climb into it with me -- oh, and the size is spectacular!
