Absolutely essential purchase for any PS5 owner. I suspect there's warehouse theft ongoing with items like these.

I've include a picture of a benchmark compared to a Corsair NVMe that I've had for over a year. Installation was smooth, even though I initially feared that I’d break the PS5’s cover trying to remove it it comes off relatively easily.

One issue. I guess my question is…. I doubt this beats my firecuda in the speed tests, but in the price bracket not a bad 2tb drive by any means.

The WD Black SN850 is a pricey but necessary bit of kit that has finally opened up my console (both literally and figuratively) and future proofed it for the foreseeable future with the PS4 line gradually coming to a close with the focus on games being made exclusively for PS5. I think my firecuda would be wasted in the ps5 for the money, but equally this isn't that much cheaper and its hard to justify this nvme over the segate. The media could not be loaded.
