I'm not yo sure where its gonna live yet , so far so good ! Easy to activate, write the date of activation on the unit, all done, easy setup It arrived sooner than the proposed date, and was immediately fitted in place.

Easy to fit - has a back plate you hook over a screw head. For peace of mind it’s best to test weekly. The sound is loud enough on testing ! It not very big and works perfectly and the boiler fitter was pleased we had installed it.

Anyway, we’re very pleased with this product - which is why I have no hesitation recommending it to fellow Amazon customers. Simple, easy to use, good longevity. Price is ok seemed good value at the time The back plate/ battery case is how you hang the unit again dissatisfied as it doesn’t really clip into place and you have to use this as the template for the fixings.

This alarm was easy to install and a great price. For detecting any possible gas leaks in this utility room come boiler room

Before deciding we’re to position the detector, you should test the device by simply pressing the large button on the front of the unit - if all is well you will hear 4 loud beeps, a pause, then another 4 even louder beeps, then a short beep and the unit will return to its normal standby mode. Good price too. Excellent fast delivery. We now have one in our lounge (where we have a gas fire) and one in our utility area (where the gas boiler is located).

I have to say it good value got money but it’s a little cheap lookingThe batteries come with the pack but don’t really say which way you fold back the clips to insert the batteries. This is a twin pack, in each of the boxes you get:1x detector2x batteries1x back plate (which you simply slide into position after fitting the batteries)1x pack of raw plugs & screws1x excellent guideOnce you have installed the batteries and backplate the unit is ready. We like this detector because it’s straight forward to set-up, install, test, and use.
