OMG this book is beyond fantastic it's brilliant I loved it every page, what I loved about this book other then we meet a brand new Detective in Jack Warr, is that we are taken down memory lane to see what some old characters are up too all these years later, Widows series is my favourite Books of Lynda la Plante and to read about these women again made me so happy I'm just sad that Dolly Rawlins is no longer with us as I'd love to have known what she be like now, Lynda la Plante did a fantastic job in bringing these characters back reading how they have grown and changed "or not" other the tears I'm so pleased with the ending of this book as I was on the edge I knew the ending I was hoping for and I got what I wanted, this Book brings back old faces in a new world of new faces and I loved that this story can be revisited at any time and with Detective Jack Warr having a link to the "Widows" years it's a stamp in his soul, I loved Jack Warr and I can't wait to find out more about him I'm looking forward to to the 2nd book in the series. The the dead body is connected to the women and victim is an ex copper the hunt is on to find the missing money from a train robbery that happened many moons ago a long trip down memory lane, Detective Jack Warr is also on a private hunt of his own as this case leads him to uncover that he has a very very close link to these women to one women and one of the most fearful gangsters London ever had! Lynda LA Plante doing what she does best, the Queen of crime.

WOW! I'm gutted it's finished I already can't wait till the 2nd Jack Warr book. I've just finished BURIED and I enjoyed every minute of it, awaiting the delivery ofJUDAS HORSE today, can't wait to read what's unfolding for Jack in this next installment.
