I've only had it installed for the last day, so can't speak to its longevity, however it seems sturdy and of good wuality materials and finish. The only 2 things I feel could be better were the laptop tray is just too bit and takes up more space then it needs to (most laptops these days are 14 or 16 inch so no need for such a large tray) and the laptop tray cant go flat. I have a (very) small desk and needed something that could help me save space.

After looking at lots of different types of monitor/laptop arms I decided to go for the BONTEC, single monitor arm with laptop tray along with a seprate single arm, once delivered the overall wight of the package shows quality, upoon opening the black finish looks really premium, all fixings are of excellent quality, easy to adjust and position and once tightened nothings going to move! .

Once done though, it was strong and sturdy and actually a bit more flexible in terms of positioning than what I could tell from the product description and images. The monitor and laptop arm is well build easy to assemble takes about 15 min cable management is very good ! I like the build quality of the product although in my oppinion it has 2 design flaws that could determine some buyers to return it. I would recommend it.

Overall, very impressed and have received many compliments for it! It also helped me liberate most of the space in my desk (where I can have a wireless keyboard, a mouse and a notepad). The product is easy to assemble/install, instructions are clear and it comes with the main tools to do it.

To fix this I cut a hole into the desk at the back and positioned the locking screw to catch the edge of the cable tidy hole at the bottom, adding a piece of timber to give the main clamp something to grip. The desk is IKEA'S MICKE and it fits in very well, you do not need the end clamp, it will sit through the cable hole just fine. Construction - I'd say a child could put this together without instructions ha, it's super basic.

I also use it with a Multi-Position standing desk, so it is in motion at least twice a day most days. The regular ones for flat screens fit just fine. Great product !
