I used an old towel and it practically ruined. I use just enough to comb into my beard once a week, so one purchase lasts for at least six months. Not sure if it comes out, so don't wear anything you don't want destroyed. Application was easy - the formula was non-drip, and the hardest part was starting a timer with the gloves on!

The opportunity to use hair dye was quite exciting for me, although I was sceptical about the results looking plasticky and fake. I dried it out with a hair dryer, and I have to say I'm extremely pleased with the results. Only mistake I appear to have made is I didn't put as much on the sides as it was going on my ears, and you can still see bits of grey, but next time will do the sides first to try and get them slightly darker. I use this product regularly and would like a replacement as it has leaked on the inside only.

So, 5 minutes in, shampood out (note there is no conditioner in the box like ladies get! ), and I was done. This has probably gone a shade darker, more like a light chocolate brown, but I like it.

Ileft it in my hair for the recommended 5 mins and my hair has gone very noticably brown after having a lot of grey in it. Great value! It might be a bit more brown I had in the past, a bit deeper colour but my girlfriend things it looks natural. But I'm more than happy that those are per expectations of the product.

I left it on for 7 minutes as I saw a man on YouTube saying leave it on for 10 if you want the shade to go darker, so I did 7 lol. The formula had no (negative) scent, and I lathered it in to my head carefully so that I didn't splash the chemicals around the bathroom. Once done, I just dry and add some beard balm and I'm ready for the day. Fortunately I think the salt and pepper look works quite well for guys, but I am starting a big new job and wanted to make a professional impression.

Having had no reaction from the 2-day skin test, I used the item today and found it easy to apply and not messy at all, if you're careful. After a day or so I can see that I can still see the grey hair, but it's nicely brown now, and almost the same as my natural hair.
