Mr B.

Durable (the GSD picks it up every now and then and throws it on the floor. Guess I expected a normal size Kong, will teach me to look at dimensions before ordering. I think dogs work out their own ways of getting things out of these. As I said, 14 mini Markies are quite a lot for one dog in one sitting and once the treat that's bunging the hole comes out, everything comes out v quickly.

I have not given a rating for durability as my dachshunds have only had these for two days, time will tell as they can destroy most things! The pup had it pinned down with her paw. Best toy I've got for the two!

I ordered them so that when I put paste or pate in the kongs, rather than have to spread it round inside of kong with my finger (as the pastes are disgusting to me, the human,) I use one of these spatulas and then chuck it in the dishwasher once done. ). Definitely a worthwhile investment.

Originally reviewed 21 August 2018 and now an update 26. You can fill these with lots of things, so vegetables, etc and I like the idea that in the summer I could put things in and then put them in the freezer, especially if we get another summer like this years heat. Then top up with a gooey item like yoghurt, peanut butter, mashed banana etc. She however did chew on the top bit a little but knowing her, she put some serious effort in it and still didn't manage to completely destroy it.

2nd use I filled it up and left it to freeze. The two parts sti'll screw in and toy works fine (Now I just know which one is Ripleys :)Both get their morning activity treats after their walk in these and they are part of our morning routines.

I don’t know if you could dishwasher them, don’t want to run the risk of ruining them. Keeps him entertained for a good hour or more. It’s genius and much better than the treat dispensers I have already to try and stimulate them, which they quickly worked out how to get into so treats were obtained from them in under a minute, so I’d stopped using them.
