A re-imagination. It's not an exercise in imagination, but something far more subtle and much more difficult to execute. Need I say more? You’ll have to buy it (hardcover) to truly see why.

I'd recommend it to those who like Gaiman or Riddell plus those who are venturing out into the harsh and original or grown up narrations of fairy tales (illustrated or not). Gaiman has often praised the silent-panels within graphic-novels. Ironically, it was while suffering from a bout of insomnia that I decided to take a break from my usual multi-book orgy and began this book as a change of pace. It is also can be read by adults.
