Unless your sat right next to it when there’s a minor humming noiseNot really noticed too much heat distribution by it… although when I place my hand near it I can feel the air/ heatInconspicuous when set at the back of the fireplace as per instructions. , had it for a few weeks then out of curiosity, lit a match reasonably close to it, blew it out and the smoke sucked into it, and not as expected outwards away from it, so tried again with length of paper and repeated the test, but this time with more smoke, and was right the first time, then noticed the wires crossed in the plug at the back, so cut them and rejoined them so the two colour’s matched, re tried the smoke test, and the fan now blows the Smoke away from the fan, but still cannot feel any heat difference, to when we didn’t have one Decided to try this fan on a ceramic heater and got to say pretty impressed with it. This does exactly what it should, projects heat from log burner through all of our lounge….

As prices are getting ridiculous will try to do anything to warm the room quicker and keep it warmer and longer with Ceramic heaters they store the heat better so can turn the heater off and fan will still keep spinning until temp drops to stop fan spinning you cant actually feel the heat from the fan so its not like a convector fan but it moves the air around the room so room has no cold spots Very happy…. Not Sure about these? I actually decided to buy a 2nd fan so there is one either side of the stove to further improve the heat circulation.

From turning the heater on takes approx 10 mins for the fan so start spinning and will spin at various speeds depending on heater settings. The media could not be loaded. Excellent product which arrived promptly and works exactly as described in the Amazon overview. I have no hesitation in recommending this product.

Very quiet when it gets going. . The fan works really well and goes like the clappersIt doesn’t shift much air as I would have liked but happy all the same Can’t really feel any difference?
