Makita does not use pins to hold the blade. Another nice surprise thanks to the seller SOLIGON FORNITURE:The product description is very humble. If a 3rd-party blade requires pins and does not have the right contour then it will not work. Be careful when you choose 3rd party blades (see photo): This Makita (different from 51 and 50!

With the DTM52, Makita has released a really nice machine again. Just the star-shaped contour and a bolt to hold the blade in place.

For works that don't require force (sanding, scraping) it is so nice to perform them without earplugs. But well the device cheered me up again. Instead It arrived together with a handy box, a small set of most important blades (sanders and saws) and an adapter for a vacuum cleaner.

Decoupling the engine is a dream for your hands! What a shame!

For works on my boat I bought this oscillating tool, based on a friend's recommendation. It was advertised as "accessories not included", so I expected a rather naked tool. Can only recommend this machine!
