I ordered this nail softener in an attempt to help my ingrown toenails so I could have some pain relief and eventually cut it out. The nail itself doesn’t feel that much softer to me but the skin kind of does.
Not sure if that’s the same as the nail softener as shown in the photos for this item but there was a sticker put on the box that says mail softener. What I received however is a “Protective Nail and Skin Oil’. So I don’t know. In any event, I’ve been using it about once a day for the past few days and I can confirm it has so far seemed to soften the area around the ingrown and therefore it is less swollen/painful but it’s still a little painful if I try to get at the ingrown, so I’m going to use it for a bit longer and then attempt to cut it.
I guess I’ll continue to use it and wait and see how it goes but I do notice a difference at least in my discomfort level.
