OVERRIDING AND FLEXIBILITY IN USEThere is also some flexibility - by this, I mean that I can override the pre-programmed times with voice command as necessary, BUT initially, I wasn’t sure if Alexa could handle it without messing up the pre-programmed times. This is pretty handy, as my laptop is connected to my TV on the other side of the room.

(. ! She first asked me to save my voice recognition (which I hadn’t done previously) which was simply repeating out loud 3 questions she gave me. The light that shows that the charger is on is extremely useful and I definitely won't be buying another smart plug without this feature.

not with Google Home). For example:It’s mid-afternoon, and I want a bit of extra light, so I tell Alexa to “turn on the lamp”. So tried again with a new cord and it works brilliantly, I’ve even got it to go on and off by a time schedule instead of me asking it.

- a bit large (though it doesn't obstruct other plugs, so not a big problem). It does the job, I find it easy to use, and it’s very convenient.
