It was refreshing to have so much representation in a book and I hope to read more books like this. It’s only when the very wealthy and dashingly handsome Andrew proposes a faux marriage of convenience scheme that Ellie sees a way out.

But Andrew brings Ellie home for the holidays and right back into Jack’s orbit. But that isn’t necessarily a bad thing, 5 stars remember.

I loved how the book was set up from last Christmas, to the snow day webcomic, to present day. This is the best Christmas romance i read in 2022, which is high praise.

Ellie is a talented artist who has suffered more than her share of hitting proverbial brick walls. It’s a queer contemporary romance then with a lot of representation. I really think a lot of people will be able to relate to the characters experiences. After a night of passion, Ellie ghosts Jack in a fit of emotion and miscommunication.

We even had a little bit of added drama with Dylan themself. It’s there that she meets the charismatic Jack and sparks fly. And you can probably tell where this is going, it’s messy and I’m here for it.

The book was in good condition when i received it! Problem is that Ellie’s still hung up on the woman she met last Christmas. Alison, Alison, Alison.

No matter if it’s sexuality, family relations or mental health. I completely fell in love with Jack and am convinced in an alternate universe I could be Ellie.
