For the price you cannot beat it! - And it is also really small and compact, unlike my old blender, so it takes less space on the kitchen counter. This blender has a very large capacity so you can prep a good amount of food at once or make smoothies for at least 2 people! Were it not for the above I would have given it 5 stars.

The lids to the containers are made with a brittle plastic and the catch broke the first time i used it. Neither can the old containers be used on the machine for the same reason (why change a perfectly acceptable design just for the sake of it ? Breville is the way to go, always!

WHAT I DON'T LIKE:- As others mentioned, this company really needs to work on better bottle design, it doesn't bother me as much as I have other bottles I can use, but it's not the most sturdy design and it will eventually crack, whereas my old blender's bottle didn't have the closing clasps and there was nothing to break (and I had the blender for 5 years). WHAT I LIKE:- It is a powerful little machine, preforms as good as my old one, even with ice. Handled other one extra carefully but then that one snapped off. !

Had an older model which had been used daily but finally the motor bunt out. Included are TWO blender bottles with lids which is great if my family want different flavour combinations.

I was looking for Black & Gold to match my kettle, so it is absolutely perfect. The blender is good and has no issues. Have had this for few months and really pleased with it. The media could not be loaded.

I now have to either decant my drink into the old cotainer or use the (glued) broken lid with an elastic band to hold it in place see photo. The lid fits very securely and even has a"ring" to help you lift it off without struggling. My kids make morning smoothies in this and it’s great, compact, tackles even frozen fruit and love the fact the bottles and blade go in the dishwasher.
