Yeah it's expensive, but that's what Christmas and birthdays are for. We must give a warning to parents who fear physical harm to their children. All the more reason there is caution to be exercised with the mega darts used by the Mega Twinshock.

It is a mechanical shotgun, and not battery-powered like other models. 7 cm, and weighs just over a kilo and a half, so it is not as easy to handle for children of those ages. It's very entertaining even for me Despite the power, the material of which the darts are made means that even if hit you don't hurt yourself

You *could* argue it's a little top-heavy, but I didn't find it an issue in use. It can fire in three different modes: single shot, pressing the trigger halfway.

There are two good loops for a carry strap, and two picatinny rails up top for a sight, light, or one of the many accessories you can fit to Nerf picatinny rails. The gun is fairly large, measuring just over 27", (a little under 70cm) at it's longest. For a single shot you pull the trigger halfway, for the double shot you push it all the way down.

Darts are fired from top to bottom, and right to left. Of course, then you have to put them back one by one again, obviously. 6 kilos in weight, and as already mentioned by another reviewer, in fact, perhaps it is not suitable for an 8-year-old child. On the other hand, mega-darts have the hilarious characteristic that when they fly they emit a very loud whistle that recalls the sound effect of bombs in movies.
