Made of a hard resin the bat is solid and sturdy but does have two joints that would allow the bat to break if you tried to use it. We loved it.

We were a little disappointed when we realized the bat was not a real wooden bat. Amazon's packaging and fulfillment were top as always!

Lucille (Negan's blackjack) could not be missing. It was fun to see his expression when he got it open. Several times I was asked why I would walk around with a real blackjack in public.
