Just have to wait to see whether the grass grows, but he is happy with it thus far. My 4 year old loves it. She liked the lamp and the fact that she has to grow the actual grass, she got even more excited.

There needs to be a note on the box saying soil/compost required. It is well presented in a sturdy box. £10 cheaper than other places. It exceeded my expectations (some things look great in the pictures but are quite flimsy in real life).

But he was happy getting the soil, scattering seeds and decorating. Can be altogether in one pot, or have the bridge going away and the fairy House at the bottom.

Such a brilliant toy. I bought this fairy garden for my 5 yr old for her birthday and she loved it. Initial thoughts :* quite a few bits, but quite thin plastic. very fast delivery.

Lovely little gift I must say that upon opening the product I was not impressed. I like the switching off of the light by blowing out the candle.
