Reviews
Chloe
That’s where the story of another person without a place in the world ends up. Well, hello! She hates to be touched. She travels to Spain in search of many things, herself included.
Tea Leaves and Reads
This is a beautiful story, seamlessly told between two main characters' who are worlds apart. This is about a child turning to an adult, but it's not s coming of age, it has death without being mournful and love without ever being a romance. What a message for life in general. From the first sentence, this book felt big, epic, a magnum opus.
Pauline Knox
This is perfect for fans of Matilda, Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine, and M for Mammy. Brimming with sharp (not always likable) observations of human behaviours. With thanks to Harper Collins UK for the ARC in return for an honest review. I think this is a book about the beauty of life and learning life and learning the lives of others.
Tara (After The Rain)
We all look for some where to feel safe and loved. It is a wonderful piece of writing. I fell in love with Augusta Hope and the people in her life.
