They are an Amazon basics product so that’s a mark of value and usability! This tool could make all the difference in a life saving situation which could prove useful not only to you but to another person in any accident you may encounter.

However I have no desire to use them in a live situation. I am keeping it in my central armrest compartment area, think about where you place it as you need to reach it in the event of an accident and you don't want it flying round the cabin. At the opposite end to the hammer is the belt cutter.

Better safe than sorry I live in North Lincolnshire and there are water filled dykes which occasionally play host to unsuspecting vehicles? Goes though double glazing with just a tap. Best safety tool everyone should carry in the car. The hammer comes in a perfectly fitting plastic tray if you want to affix it somewhere permanent in a vehicle.

Good value for money and there’s a pair provided so you can have one for rear seat passengers. However I’m confident in their manufacture and design. This seems a bit of an odd product when you first look at it, but, I'll guess you are reading this review as you've already thought about what if Im trapped in my car after a crash, not a pleasant thought, but it happens all the time. The colour orange makes it stand out and easier to find.

I got the two pack to put one in our other car. Do not be tempted to try this, I will tell you it works, I tried it on an old work tie and it went through like butter. It also protects the sharp hammer tips from accidentally coming into contact with something they shouldn't.
