As you can see my cat Niki is not able to escape yet there is plenty of breeze coming in. I watched my cat execute some boneless, ninja moves to escape through the window gap.

The media could not be loaded. I was so impressed with my purchased I bought 4 more to lock all the front windows in the house as we have cats that are only allowed out in the back garden. I bought one of these window restrictors to see how they would work on our windows with a new cat.

You still get a good amount of airflow and your windows are secure from being caught in the wind. I decided to hide it at the top behind my blinds.

I bought 1 for all 3 bedrooms and honestly they were so so easy to install and when they're stuck down they don't budge. The slider also needs to be adjusted by hand to close one of my windows.

Game changer for me 5***** As the restrictor is for a side opening window the adhesive pad and fitting is slightly wider than my frame so I would not be able to say how safe it would be for children. Easy to install and operate and the arm disconnects from the locking point if the window is required to be opened fully.

Item is easy to install and has shown no signs of coming off easily. I found this product when looking for a solution to a problem we had with the side opening bathroom window continually blowing wide open as the side of the house seems to create some kind of wind tunnel that made the window virtually unusable. Works well to keep my cats inside while wanting some fresh air in the room. I like this product as it was easy to fit and stops my cats being able to get out of my bottom opening windows, my windows opened too far allowing my cats to get out so I was unable to open my windows which was a pain as the weather has been so hot lately.

I didn't like the fact then when opened fully, the sliding part locks into a groove and you are required to pinch the locking point to be able to shut the window again. Whether it is to keep animals in, protect children, or just to stop the wind catching your windows this product has you covered.
