The flavor is much less intense than peated or aged longer whiskeys, but it is appreciated as it has a soft taste. Taste of sour orange, pear and apples. Traditional distillation in small-sized copper stills in the shape of a flashlight. However, the two glasses in this gift box were smashed in transit but due to Amazon’s return policy I can’t return the item.

This is my favourite whisky, really smooth and a great value 12 yo that is infinitely “sippable” & doesn’t need anything with it. Very gentle on the palate, but creamy.

I've been buying a few Whisky's recently Jura (10), Old Pulteney (12) and Ardmore - I like them all for different reasons but this really is the business. Packaging with case and distillery paper to be packed to protect the bottle that made it an appreciated gift. It is a light whiskey in the mouth, soft, with fruity tones. The Glenlivet 1824 Founder's Reserve Founded in 1824 by George Smith, it is currently owned by Chiva's Brothers.
