In my case I am using it in a 20m print run for an AP EDIT 12/2021: I buy a second unit, the first one has been working for 1 year without problems The PoE Injector is really simple to use. This device puts enough power onto the Cat 5e cable that I use to provide an internet and power my Raspberry Pi 3. The cable runs about 15 feet from this Injector to the Pi that is mounted to the back of my TV.

The wireless AP powers with no issues. I would suggest paying the few $ extra to get this PoE injector if you need one. Not really too much to expand on about this POE Injector, but I've currently got it hooked up to a Amcrest IP5M-1176EW IP POE camera and it's been running non-stop for about a year so far, and I never had even one hiccup or problem with the injector so far.
