The overall colour of the sand is darker than it appears in the picture, however it is still gorgeous and I look forward to using it. I would have expected a product as fine, and as easily spoiled, as sand to have been packaged in a more secure way than just in a ziplock bag. The packaging for this sand was a ziplock bag, with no additional packaging other than the cardboard envelope that it was delivered in.
This craft sand is very fine, and very sparkly. Fortunately the seal of the ziplock bag was closed, however, given how easy it can be for a ziplock bag not to be securely closed, I feel lucky that I didn’t lose any of the sand in transit.
