This is not a job for bare hands or latex gloves, trust me I have tried! On the areas that are tough, (elbows, knees, and ankles) I use heavier moisture. Read reviews about many different self tanners and this one seemed to have the best reviews as well as one of the purchased most often.

I exfoliated and shaved and then applied just a cheap lotion but a lot of it! No problems with an orangey tint like some self tanners. So when I first started using this I did notice it not going well around my feet/ankles and hands, but that's because of poor application. I still retained most of the color, I knew it was going to take a few days to build the tan level I desire.
