I've attached a photo, so you can see both connections pretty much side by side. I had tried a USB to type C which I had already but no luck, so wasn’t hopeful for this but it works perfectly.

I use this to connect a second monitor through HDMI to type C into my computer. Either the wording was misleading, or, quite possibly, I miss read the description for what phone it is compatible with. I found this to be an excellent cable that delivers great results for a great price.

I count this as a win for the good guys, given how expensive the official Apple lightning to HDMI adaptor was! Worked immediately without any extra setup on Chromebook. Screens my iPad Air 4 Exactly how I wanted.
