Well, the calculators I was allowed to use in high school and college were fairly basic at the time and the more advanced,scientific ones quite expensive. It turns on and off. The product is perfect for what I need.

It seemed to be filled will load os of new functionality and has a bigger, much more helpful display. Would have given 5 stars if Casio had retained a 'legacy' font size.
