I was somehow uncertain looking at the multitude of smoothie-blenders out there but after prioritising certain factors i ve bought this instead . Blender came with the wrong base. The blade just needs rinsed under the tap and that's it, really easy, minimal clean up. No leads and no loud grinding noises!

£20 well spent! Surprised at the very low noise wich means i can use it in the morning before going out for a run without creeping out my neighbours . The bottles are decent but I wouldnt be trusting the sports cap not to pop off in my bag if it wasn't upright.

Other than this the appliance performs wonderfull ,it s been used on a daily basis. So in conclusion, cheap, easy to use, easy to clean, doesn't use much counter space and aesthetically, pretty neutral. Call Breville, and after a few back and forth calls, and 2 weeks waiting for the post, you will get a new blender. It goes with fruit, veggies, in salads, rice, hotdogs, steak, chicken, fish, pork, even with chips!

Motor was fine, I tested it using a knife to hold down the saftey switch (specifically not recommended in the instructions) and it ran. But that is it.

The bottles are well made and the lids seal nice and tightly. )To be honest for what I use this for (morning smoothies with oats, bananas, berries etc) it is perfect though perhaps for the more advanced blender, it may not be the most heavy duty thing. My one criticism is that the motor could do with a bit more power to get a really good mix with more solid fruits.
