It is definitely better with the dehumidifier pad, but it's not the magic solution I had hoped. This is an attractive grey felt product and looks much nicer sitting on the dashboard than some of the plastic models. I dried out the car as much as possible before using it (removing existing condensation with kitchen roll and running the air con with maximum blast hot air) and cleaned the screen thoroughly, which are both tips I found online. It also comes sealed in a plastic bag inside the box, so it hasn't been absorbing moisture whilst stored in the warehouse.

However, it hasn't made that much difference to the amount of condensation I get on the windscreen. It has a larger surface area than many of the other similar products so should be able to absorb more moisture. It comes in a smart box which makes it ideal as a gift. There has been some improvement, but some days I still have to wipe the screen with a cloth and blast the hot air to clear it.
