Overall good for the price, easy to set up, fit my Gaggia Classic Pro 58mm commercial portafilter, with maybe a tiny bit of room to spare but didn’t cause the puck to lip around the edges. Upon receiving it I took it apart to clean - and found some very unpleasant grease mark (I hope it was simply a grease mark) inside. Super straight forward.

The surface of the distributer is smooth and it doesn’t have sharp edges like other reviewers have noted. However, as shown in the picture it does not work well on the Breville Dual Boiler.

With 21g in a triple basket with the bottomless portafilter it's almost there. The 4 star rating for durability is for the amount of times you will drop the thing. One test out of the box with this super inexpensive distribution tool and BAM, my double spout basket flowed perfectly from the start.

Agree with another review that the quality control is pretty bad (see photo). Immediately less channeling when comparing to hand distribution or the paper clip method, and far easier too. If it weren’t tumbling around an envelope and If the little bubble wrap sleeve stayed on it (within the product box) maybe it wouldn’t have gotten those little dings and scratches.

This distributor does it's job. I recently got a gaggia classic pro and a fancy grinder, and as I work to get the perfect gram measurements in my portafilter and the perfect grind, this thing helps make sure my tamping stays the same from shot to shot.

? Materials are good - made of solid metal and definitely has some heft to it. Sturdy, easy to use, and great value for money.
