This strip cartoon style book follows the adventures of two best friends - bumble and snug as they get lost whilst trying to enjoy a picnic day out! 10/10 My eldest declared it very good and pointed out that one of the characters (I shan’t say which one) very much reminded him of me. I really hope that it will be the first of many titles in the series.

This is the first graphic novel I’ve come across for younger readers which really encourages them to think about their reactions to situations and consider how they could do things differently. It's a quirky fun read. My 5yr old and I are in love with the vivid colourful illustrations and the laugh out loud humour of this book.

This seems to be the first book by Mark Bradley and he has nailed it. The title on the product page says Book 1 so I’m hoping for more Bumble and Snug adventures.

) and then a satisfying denouement involving. My whole household absolutely loved this! I give Bumble & Snug 1 million stars without hesitation. Bumble and Snug and the Angry Pirates is the most super cutest graphic novel I’ve ever read.
