I like the wide variety of individuals who exemplify beauty throughout the pages of the book with lots of make up ideas and possibilities ranging from the most natural to drag queens. I really like my new book and found the inexpensive paperback to be a great purchase. I think this is a better value for your money and I’m not disappointed in the content I still wish there was more tutorials on the actual shadowing and sculpting of the celebrity luxe versus just generic information about the fashion of that era and a few general ideas on how to do that I unlit make up from that time period- I understand however this was written before the age of YouTube and social media videos that change the industry meaning it would’ve been considered giving away trade secrets and provide too many details. A must have for the bookstores of all makeup artists or enthusiasts!

How do I be mad at a little artist using Kevyn as inspiration. Overall though it is a good book and testament to Kevyn Aucoins work. If you know anything about makeup or if you know nothing at all, acclaimed makeup artist Kevin Aucoin made the best how to of makeup and how to look fabulous.
