I don't think this is the best for live performance with holding the mic in hand, tap/touch noises are present. Only drawback is there are no adjustments on the mic (if you were considering a Blue Yeti, those have adjustments for gain, etc) but you can deal with this in your audio settings anyway. This is for vocals close to the mouth .

I suggest getting a boom arm because the stand takes up desk space I bought the Samson Q2U microphone recently and I'm absolutely delighted. Zero regret buying this mic. This is probably one of the best sound quality to money value that any other dynamic mic out there can get.

#1 - voice, #2 - clap, #3 - wood, #4 - snap. In the video, I recorded voice and sounds to demonstrate the quality and played them unchanged. Not terrible but they're there.

First of all, I would like to thank the seller, because the delivery was impeccable, and the product is sensational. It's definitely overkill for voice chat (people won't really notice a difference over Discord unless you are really close to the mic). and way better than a blue yetti or any other condenser mic because it does a great job of noise reduction.
