He could have ended up with Moth to train! Carissa has built a beautiful world with Daughter of No Worlds. The characters are all multilayered and well written along with the highly detailed world building.

The story's strength lies in its characters. There were so many noteworthy quotes from their banter (humorous, romantic, profound). Their love was not instant. ) which made the romance all the more sweet when it happened.

The fragmented pieces of eachother. If you are a fan of magic, slow burn romance, enemies (ish) to lovers and a fantastic plot this story is for you! The first book in the series introduces you to Tisaanah, a slave who is forced to perform in order to buy her freedom.
