I honestly can figure out how Meze got this broad feeling from a closed, well isolating headphone, it is remarkable. Let me start by saying that I am far from being a headphone aficionado, but I’ve tried some more pricey headphones from Beats and Thieaudio, as well as the iPod Pro earbuds. They are not wireless. They can even take some crunchier punk recordings and still pump some extra depth into them without really making you notice that lowfi quality in a bad way.

Being closed-back headphones, they also do a decent job of not disturbing other people around you. . !

You also won't find any plastic on these headphones and every piece is secured with screws so all you hobbyists out there can tear them down and replace components as needed with very little fuss! Overall, the case is classy looking. A small soundstage.

Remember, motorcyclists do the same thing and block out even more. The 99 Classics is truly a great overall headphone for those looking for a warm, entertaining and detailed musical experience.

After giving them 40 hrs of use, this is what I experienced. You can switch them easily. I think they are extremely fun and energetic, making them an obvious guilty pleasure for me.

STEGO BOARD

Obviously I could drive volume louder with no distortion. All this works when out for a run or hike as well. The only issue some might have is the pads getting a little warm with extended use, though I do love how soft the PU leather is, it is like a pillow around the ear. I also just ordered some Brainwavz pads to play a bit.
