A lovely copy. I bought the milk, said my father. From multi-award-winning Neil Gaiman comes a spectacularly silly, mind-bendingly clever, brilliantly bonkers adventure - with lip-smackingly gorgeous illustrations by Chris Riddell. Very boring. Harper Collins. And most definitely not a time-travelling hot-air balloon piloted by the brilliant Professor Steg. There are absolutely none of the following inside: globby green aliens! Pirates! I wish someone had posted this for me! I was disappointed but it still seems like a cute book that I hope he will like. Here are pictures so you can see for yourself.
I purchased this book for my nephew, but it was artist Skottie Young that attracted me to the book. There are still a bunch of cute drawings, but just black outlined drawings on the pages. There was no preview of the inside of the book, so I was ever so hoping it was more of a (colored) comic book (he is an artist and writer of adult comic books). Well, it is not a comic book and not in color.
