I cleaned the area thoroughly before applying this Dryzone anti mould paint. Cleaned the wall as best I could ready for the application of paint.

I will have to wait to see how long it keeps the mould away for, fingers crossed. This dried quite fast, I'm able to wipe the paint down with a cleaning cloth without the paint being effected or rubbing off. I applied two coats of this brilliant white paint on the walls as it was covering over the previous paint which was also brilliant white.

4 weeks later no sign of damp and I am very impressed! No more condensation, no more moulding, no more dehumidifier on all day and indeed the wall is warmer to touch. As long as the black mouldy patches and the disgusting smell is gone I'm fine with that. This can of paint came securely packed in polystyrene peanuts and also wrapped in a sealed plastic bag.

But this might have to wait for the summer. I vote rough corners every time! As seen via the pics provided I have had relatively bad damp.

It says light sanding is allowed but I never bothered with that. Seamed to go on ok covered the mould looks good for now , it’s hard to rate as long term not sure if the black will come back through I will be getting more! However, it might take extra costs depending on what colour your walls are to begin with.

Used after the cleaning kit and it perfectly matched my current wall colour The paint is thick but still easy to apply, we left it for a day before doing the second coat, and it looks bright and white. I will update if the mould comes through, or if it appears in any other places. The media could not be loaded.

So far, I cant see any mould. You could see it through the paint and wallpaper before so I'm quite impressed at this. It seems to be working well, I have used it to paint a wall in my utility room which was mouldy because it's an outside wall and the condensation from the washing doesn't help. All of this is gone!
