Is it worth the extra price compared to standard makers mark ? My mum can't stand Whisky or bourbon but actually loves this, so that's a story in itself.

Absolutely love it. I say yes but that's just MY personal choice. It has a caramelly smell to it and the taste is smooth and has a nice smokeyness to it.

45%vol makes this drink very universal as in ; nice to drink neat can take a few drops of water also handles ice well and makes cocktails that bit nicer and even handles coke if that's your thing. I got my first bottle on Amazon subscription for a truly amazing price. It's a matter of taste, this whiskey is a bit tart, stick with my own brand that has a fruity taste note! I personally like it with a couple of drops of water it gives a full mouth feel and flavours just linger.
