It is also marvellous as wi-fi repeater but you will lose 50% of speed that way. Bought this WiFi extender in the hope that it would help. We live in a maisonette that was built in the 1960s, I don't know what the building material is made of but it is terrible for WiFi signals.

Decided to try a range extender. With the Develo I was getting a weak wifi reception at the unit and 3-4 Mbps at my laptop. We paid more than twice the price of this one, and could never figure out how to set it up. It is not ideal solution but it is a quick fix for my Tesla in driveway to download software update.
