However the gun works well and I would recommend this for any quilter to help with the tedious basting process. I was very disappointed and feel the listing was misleading to show this picture when that is not what you get! The gun is amazing for basting quilts but be warned and check the listing properly - the cheapest one (that was top of the page) that I bought did not come in this packaging, it came in a cardboard box, and with no tacks so I ended up paying more than I could have, as some sellers sell the proper pack as pictured for less than I paid.
