It's a rocker not a bouncer; so my daughter was able to get a good rocking motion going on our wood floors. My daughter is 7 months and 8kg so is right at the upper end of the recommended age bracket for this but shes still happily bouncing away in the baby Bjorn so she was a good test subject for checking this out. There is an easy pull lever at the back of the headrest which changes it to three different positions, much more convenient than the bjorn which has an awkward clicker underneath the chair. There are two little levers that pull out on the bottom of the chair which turn it from a rocker into a seat that doesn't move; another feature that the Bjorn doesn't have.

It’s light weight with three adjustments and very comfortable for my baby to lie on with the soft padding inlay and a harness to keep them safe. The only downside, and I have to take a star off for this, is that it only goes up to 9kg, approx 6 months, although many babies wont reach this weight until later, it wont have any longevity past the 9 month mark I would guess. As a mum of two little girls, a good baby seat is one of my recommended essential baby buys. It's so much more stylish looking than the bjorn, literally no comparison, so if you're looking for something that will fit in well with your decor and look good this is a great choice.

A life times cover is given, this is not the cheapest rocker on the market but it is quality made. Easy to fold flat or for carrying, stores away flat when not in use.
Really gorgeous design with a faux wooden detailing, plush fabric and a really comfy newborn insert. To start with, it looks fab. Overall this is a great chair, it ticks so many boxes, super comfy for baby, looks great, easy to clean, easy to use, stores flat.
