Seen reports where the trailed bike either leans or trails to one side that is when either a) the connector on the kids bike has not been properly lined up adjusted and tightened when behind the adult bike or b) comes loose. The U bolts need to be REALLY tight especially if you child does not have a sense of balance to then use training wheels. Well packaged with relevant parts on seperate packets for easy identification.

This helps stop the mount slipping and protects the bike from damage. There is a picture of this in the instruction manual and applies to a lot of the bikes I have seen including my 3 now 4 year olds bike. Having said the with a few small modifications it works a treat and it's brilliant on rides with the kids. This fantastic product works brilliantly quality made item but you need some common sense and if in doubt a cycle tech.

Great product. With smaller kids bikes especially those with chunkier frames the brackets needs to be placed one up and one down.

Second one was all fitted unless than 20 minutes To be fair was only slight issue with the 4 year old the 6 year old was fine and we had some great rides this weekend. Great when it works, just depends on your bike and how well it fits. Bought two of them to use with a 6 year old and4 year old on 16 inch Ridgeback bikes trailed behind two mountain bikes.
If you have a small bike, chunky frame-see alternative mounting position in manual! I have had to help several people reinstall their trailgators due to the movement described by several people.
! Takes a little while to get used to the weight and turning circles.
