She lives alone with her father who spends all his time at work. In addition, it is really a very beautiful object book. In 1982, the story of Mary, a young orphan resident of Thornhill, was discovered. The story is moving and deals with strong topics. Dark, depressing, a really good story with great art. The author plunges us into a dark and very creepy universe where we alternate between Ella, who we follow only through very pretty illustrations, and Mary, whose private diary can be read.
