My partner and I were due to start a detox this week but as i was between hopeful ovulation & start of period I ordered these tests to make sure before I did anything that could be detrimental to a pregnancy. The tests are really simple to use.

I have had this happen to me. These tests have also given me positive results when the doctors urine test was negative and blood tests have confirmed that the First Response test was indeed correct.

Yay we’re pregnant! As was the cheap supermarket test. Had I not been under the care of doctors for repeated miscarriage and had these pregnancies confirmed by blood tests I may well have just assumed the tests had given me false positive results as many reviews have claimed these tests to have done, when in fact I have never had a false positive from one of these tests. This morning’s line was faint but clearer than yesterday, but I still did not believe it based on some of the Reviews & not wanting to get my hopes up (20 months of nothing & 40yrs old what are the odds) my partner ran to the local chemist to get a clear blue test and I was absolutely shocked to see that I am 1-2 weeks pregnant.

We are over the moon! Tried clearblue at 9 dpo was negative whilst frer showed positive from 8 dpo.

I will re-test in a few days to ensure and will update if I’m not pregnant. I got a very early positive result (on more than one occasion too) and blood tests confirmed the pregnancies. Occasionally you may get the big fat positive you've been hoping for and suddenly you're on cloud nine only to be devastated a week later when your period arrives. Since last week I have felt exhausted & tearful for no reason and had actually been worried it was a sign I was starting the menopause.

I used some easy@home too, they managed to catch a shadow when First Response was positive. I know that when you're hoping to get that positive result, that waiting to test until your period is due can seem like an eternity but there is one thing to bear in mind with very early response tests of any brand and it's something I know well from experience.

I love these tests and although I did not test early I tested 5 days apart and was reassured to see the 2nd line getting darker, so I knew my hCG levels were rising. Very impressed with both tests.
