I really like this rum. I'd say the bottle itself is a little plain- very simplistic and the cork is a little tricky to open. What I normally buy for pride month every year wasn't available this time so I decided to buy this Navy rum instead since I don't often have it.

I also suspect the over use of E150 (caramel colour) in this, in terms of the blend I can guess it's mainly Guyana based, which is good but lacks depth. The colour is a lovely dark amber, the initial taste smooth before the spicy alcohol kick aftertaste.

It's very smooth for the alcohol percentage. If someone gave this to me in a glass and didn't tell me the alcohol percentage I would have never guessed it's as high as 57% because of how smooth it is. This one did not disappoint.
