Tattoo numbing cream is most commonly used to help pain throughout tattoo sessions. Emla contains the two active substances, lidocaine and prilocaine, known as local anaesthetics. EMLA cream 5g is used as a topical anaesthetic to numb the skin before needle puncture when having a non surgical injectable procedure.
