François Thibault created La Poire specifically to reflect the taste and freshness of an anjou pear—a classic flavour of french cuisine. Absolut Pears is fresh and delicate, with a smack of mellow pears and a long fruity aftertaste. In 1879, Lars Olsson Smith introduced the continuous distillation with which he made Absolut Rent Branvin (Absolute Pure Vodka). The result is flavoured vodka alive with the aromas of fresh pears and a crisp, smooth taste. Also, the place where the wheat used for making the vodka is grown Smith's birth town. Grey Goose La Poire features a trio of natural flavourings blended specifically to reflect the taste and freshness of an Anjou Pear.

I bought one initially, but when it came I decided to purchase another for my partner, as it looked very interesting. I ordered in the evening and it came the very next morning. My favourite pear vodka , great taste and flavour. The bottle is very nicely decorated and mango is an interesting addition to Absolute vodka. This product was bought as a present for a family member so I will be judging on appearance and service.
