I’ve seen others say it doesn’t work for them when you use it as a toner but it did work for me and this wig. I decided to try this out because I was stuck with that half over processed half under processed mess of color. Full disclosure I had already toned this wig with a purple shampoo but there was still a ton of yellow left and I was having the problem that certain parts of the wig were going straight purple while other parts were still that horrible hay yellow.
Not sure about using it by itself but if you already have a blondish color with some of the yellow out and you don’t want to go purple but want that beautiful bright blonde it’s perfect for an icy look I was super relieved to see that this mask left my wig that gorgeous white blonde all over without going purple even when I left it on for an extended period of time.
