Tut tut Black and Decker. We are still waiting for the seller's response on how to handle this. It now does not work on this item and I expect it to fail on the second workmate. The only downside is that one of the table tops is defective and needs to be replaced.

Feels quite well made though it had some scratches and marks from when it was made in the factory (see photos). I use these for DIY. Bad build quality and design on dual vice.

The pros: - price 85 euros - vertical tilting top Cons: - cheesy assembly (look below how to improve it) - it's not quite as portable as it seems, once folded it's still bulky - instructions done wrong, you don't understand anything but it's just the discomfort of the first time It's heavy, 15kg, I don't put it among the cons because it could be a pro since since the weight is more stable, if you have to move it often it is a counter, you see what you need. has been manipulated before!

Assembly was a bit fiddly and ended up watching a clip on YouTube but got there in the end. You have to assemble a few pieces but as read in some reviews, the assembly instructions, attached with drawings, are unclear. For the rest, the table is well done, it is not portable but it tilts vertically, it is heavy so stable and I'm happy. All this is driven by a perforated nylon belt wrapped between the two pulleys, integral to the axis of the cranks, held in tension by a transverse spring in the center, which is not very easy to put back on OK if you take off.

When closed, it takes up little space, in my case it was essential. Whoever this company uses for delivery needs to have a rethink about the standards they apply

It's not really important so I'm not going to use it. Perfect for my use, maybe a bit low, but I'm going to add studs and it should be good. Given the problem at Amazon, I received a 20% discount, as replacing the product would not have made sense because the problem with the belt remains.
